The calculator gives you the numbers — this guide gives you the plan. Everything below applies to PUBG Mobile, BGMI, Free Fire and COD Mobile unless noted.
How ranked points work
In all four games, every ranked match gives you points from two sources: placement/survival (how long you stay alive, how high you finish) and eliminations (kills, and in some games assists and damage). At low tiers, just surviving earns points. At high tiers (Crown/Diamond and above), lobbies get harder and eliminations matter much more — passive play stalls out.
7 habits of fast climbers
- Track your real average. Most players overestimate. Check your last 10–20 matches and use the true average in the calculator — honest inputs give honest plans.
- Play in blocks, not marathons. 5 focused matches beat 12 tilted ones. Take a break after two bad games in a row.
- Survival first, then kills. Until Diamond/Crown, prioritize placement — top-10 finishes with 2–3 kills outscore hot drops with 8 kills and an early death.
- One mode, one squad. Ranked progress is per-mode; spreading matches across modes and random teammates slows every climb. Pick one mode and a fixed squad.
- Push early in the season. Competition is softest in the first weeks. In PUBG/BGMI, the first players to hit Ace even auto-grab Conqueror.
- Protect your streak. After hitting a new tier, many games shield you from instant demotion — use that cushion to play confidently, not recklessly.
- Re-plan weekly. Your average changes as lobbies get harder. Re-run the calculator every week with fresh numbers.
Game-specific notes
- PUBG Mobile / BGMI: Ace starts at 4200. Conqueror = Top 500 at Ace+, refreshed daily — late-season cutoffs climb, so push early.
- Free Fire: Heroic at 3200 is the big milestone most players target. Master (6000+) and Grandmaster (Top 300) are the true endgame.
- COD Mobile: Legendary is a fixed 8001+ — no leaderboard race. Losses stop costing points below Elite, so the early grind is forgiving.
💡 Reality check: no calculator or guide can guarantee a tier — lobbies, teammates and form vary. What they can do is turn a vague grind ("bas khelte raho") into a concrete plan with a date on it.
