PUBG Mobile's ranked ladder runs from Bronze (1000 points) to Ace Dominator (5200), with Conqueror above it for the Top 500 players. Ace — the goal behind most 'how many matches to Ace' searches — starts at 4200 points, followed by Ace Master at 4700.
Points come from survival time, final placement, eliminations, assists and damage. Up to Diamond, smart rotations and consistent top-10 finishes carry you. From Crown upward, lobbies get tougher and kills become the difference between climbing and stalling — this is where most Ace pushes die.

There is no fixed cutoff — Conqueror goes to the Top 500 players at Ace or above, refreshed daily. Late-season cutoffs climb; the calculator default estimate is 6000 points.
Diamond starts at 3200 and Ace at 4200 — 1000 points to go. At 12 points per match that's about 84 matches; at 5 matches a day, roughly 17 days.
Only indirectly. Kills feed your match points, but placement usually pays more per match — a top-5 finish with 3 kills outscores a hot-drop 8-kill early death.
